About Me

Hi! I'm Monil Kaneria. I am persuing a bachelor's degree in Computer Science at the Georgia Institute of Technology with consentration in computing devices and artificial intelligence. I aspire to be a software developer and contribute towards solving some of the fundamental problems we face today. In my free time I like to explore different coding projects, watch soccer on TV and play PS4 game. I am a member of the machine learning/AI club at georgia tech called "The Agency", where we learn and apply concepts of machine learning using python.
At present I am actively searching for Software Engineering Internships for Summer 2021.

Graphic Designer• June 2018 – June 2019

Worked at The UPS Store in Madison AL as a graphic designer. Interacted with over 50 customers in the span of 11 months and successfully managed to fulfill their demands which included designing various banners, posters, business cards, yard signs and brochures created using Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Photoshop.

Interact Club

Senior Education Intern• June 2016 - Jan 2018

Worked as a member of Interact Club. Lead a team of 10 fellow students and taught Mathematics to over 150 children in the course of 2 years.

Green Revolution Program

Climate Counselling Ambassador• Aug 2017 – Nov 2017

Worked in the Green Revolution Program, organized by International Center for Culture & Education (ICCE) in collaboration with The United Nations and NASA. The main objective was to lead the campaign as a climate counselling ambassador for spreading awareness about climate change in the neighborhood. The primary tasks were to sell recycled pencils with seeds of different plants attached to it and give door to door speeches about climate conservation.
